Marina Gershenovich

Born in Novosibirsk. Both close and distant relatives were all born in different places: Georgia, Poland, the Caucasus, Russia, Crimea, Siberia. By profession instructor of children’s extracurricular activities, working for the past few years at the studio theatre “Smile” at the YMCA.

Has lived in Germany since 1998, in Düsseldorf. Translates into Russian German and English poetry (Masha Kaleko, Gertrude Colmar, Rudyard Kipling, Shelah Silverstein, etc.)
